What are the accommodations like?

The Lodge is Pioneer Camp's largest and most popular site available, holding 50 - 101 people in the main Lodge building, with an additional 22 beds in the nearby Chippewa, for a site maximum of 123 guests.

The Lodge site includes a separate Dining Hall facility with delicious fully-catered meals.  There are many places here at Pioneer Camp to explore during your time here should you need a break, hikes, ropes course, trails etc.  The Lodge features 17 rooms, each with a three piece ensuite washroom.  Each room can sleep between 1 - 6 guests.  A common lounge area (Family Room) with attached sun room is also available.  There is also a tuck shop on site that sells clothing, snacks, beverages, souvenirs and many more items for your convenience.  There are also pay phones and pop machines available.
What other things should I be aware of?
Pioneer Camp is a peanut and nut free zone, we try to be very careful that all food and canteen items are nut free.  We will have plenty of snacks and our canteen will be open for you during the weekend.  If you want to bring any snacks of your own please do not bring munchies containing nuts.

We ask that there be no alcohol brought to camp and smoking will be in designated areas only.
